Power 02:50
[Verse One]: This right here is dangerous, attracts the worst, corrupts the best of us. Tap into the reservoir, check the repertoire and your competitor. Be better than the next man, step on toes, seek the foes, go get a little cut-throat. Feed your hunger, rise from slumber, game face on and break all comfort. See me seeking for the feast, unleashing the beast, rampage the streets with no sleep in weeks. Rolling in the deep, yet, I do not creep, no TLC, where’s the friends I seek? Circle gets small with disregard, with me or against me? I’m still going hard! Ain’t got time for the flip-flop, wish-wash, pull you in the trap, got you talkin’ like bosh. Do you understand now? Rap with authority, high seniority, yes, I’m the man now. Gribble said “Be the boss in the game!”, I said, “It’s on the way, the rest ain’t came!” Stay in my lane? That was 2 miles an hour, going 200 from the road to the dungeon. Heart’s in the chamber, straight mercenary, old in the cemetery, new stuff? Legendary. Wait for it…Culchr…! We show you how to move in a room full of vultures! Lots are shady and they say they made me, that was Mom and Pop, aw yeah, they made me! When I came through the womb, it was clear to see, I’m the one to adore and the one to be! Drop bombs in 24 like Bauer, I don’t want much, but I want the power (motherfucker!)! (Hook) [Verse Two]: -Absolute power is kind of neat, all I want is a bed to just lay my feet. Kicking ass, taking names is all in a day’s work, I got the soleil like I’m living in a cirque. I stand adversity, test my character, take a moment to register, the evolving predator. That’s the bear, plus the lion, plus the Hulk, am I lying? Life stripped away made me feel like I’m dying! More alive than I ever was, resurrect the king, resurrect the dog, let the big man sing! It ain’t over till I drown, till they Mazel Tov the crown, till they shoot me down, till they put me down! I’m breaking down every door they placin’, make ‘em jump like they O’Hearon Jason. If the power corrupts, does none make you pure? Does this word make you insecure? Some say I’m fresh…when my voice go through the mesh… Of the microphone that I’m holdin’…With the plans that are now unfolding… Culchr don’t need no saving…don't need the police to try to save them Stay off my back…Or I will attack and you don't want that…

[Intro (Spongebob)]: I don't need it...(x15) I need it! [Verse One (B.Allen)]: Two things I need, a bad chick and some good weed / Wear a Jimmy Hat, I don't need no unplanned seeds / Tell the crooked cops they can unhand me / R.I.P to Mike Brown, Eric G - my hands up, tell em I can't breathe / Y'all don't know the things that I seen, the reason why I need to chase these dreams (oh!) / I don't need your love, hoe - but I do need the drugs, though / They keep telling me I need to slow down? I can only ask what for / Bro, I'm just living my life, you need to try to live yours / My team is an army and we the shit now - copy that, 10-4! / I need your hate to motivate - don't need a watch, bitch - I know I'm late! Shit on my mind, let me ventilate. Wanna get like me, let me demonstrate how to cultivate the game / Everybody know my name, I don't need the fame - what you expect, I need the respect! / And if I don't get it, catch a blade to the neck / I need to find a better way to handle the stress! Ok - let's move on - you look a little tense, here - play this song! / And get your groove on / I think they need good music 'cause it's been too long / How you gonna take shots if I'm in the Teflon? How you like that? I heard that you rap and you always staying strapped / Don't listen to the lies they tell y'all...cause I heard that "It's A TRAP!" [Hook]: (B.Allen) Do you need it? (BDaMan) I don’t need it! (BDaMan) Do you need it? (B.Allen) I don’t need it! (B.Allen) Do you need it? (BDaMan) I don’t need it! (B.Allen) Do they need it? (BDaMan) Can they feel it? [Both] The money… The cars… The clothes… There’s more… We steal the show… Soul’s a Go… Swag like whoa... Oh, no… [Verse Two (BDaMan)]: I need what I want and I want what I need, I need it right now, so, what’s it gonna be? The materialistic or simplistic? You got it sick and twisted, they never coexisted! In the right mind, I’m a beast on the thrill! In the wrong mind, I’m gone downhill! Needs and wants are a big divide, like the day Trayvon and Mike Brown died. I replied, “Is it worth it to beg? Is it worth the pityness you spew instead?” Get off your knees, stop begging with the pleas, you ain’t gotta be James Brown, begging please. What does it mean? Don’t seek Ns and Ws, seek and find a bunch more troubles. In for a whole lot of struggles when you do, “Hustle The Struggle, Don’t Let The Struggle Hustle You”! Don’t keep friends who won’t remain true, don’t keep memories that really scar you. Bother you, feeling some type of way, like the girlies in the land who give no play. I ain’t bitter, but I say it with my chest and I say what I mean till I put it at rest. Oh yes, the monster’s back, pulled the conscious back, I’m dropping bombs to that! Like it’s Flex on the track, score Hot 97s, feel my presence like I’m a walking legend. They alleging I need it, like a cup of water, they alleging I want it like the mighty dollar. But I already have it, like a sleeve of magic, so y’all can’t even grab it, like the foot of a rabbit. If I need it, I would take it, if I want it, I would get it, I don’t need it, I don’t want it, that Culchr shit? We on it! [Hook]: (B.Allen) Do you need it? (BDaMan) I don’t need it! (BDaMan) Do you need it? (B.Allen) I don’t need it! (B.Allen) Do you need it? (BDaMan) I don’t need it! (B.Allen) Do they need it? (BDaMan) Can they feel it? [Both] The money… The cars… The clothes… There’s more… We steal the show… Soul’s a Go… Swag like whoa... Oh, no…

[Intro (Meghan Trainor)]: I'm all about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass... All about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass...(Because you know I'm...) All about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass...(Because you know I'm...) [Verse One]: All y’all think it sounds the same, there’s levels to it all like bowling frames. I strike your spare like a bad affair, creep in the night like I’m chilly in the left eye. Cruisin’ down ya street in a 12-8, 6-4 can’t support it, how about a V-8? How about I translate? Man…Too big for your box, like Bad Boy and L.O.X. Told ya I rock with guitars, B Dot got Lucille, I’m feeling tall like Shaquille! It’s something like ill! My posse in effect - we inspect Brazil. Livin’ la vida loca (loca...), I like ‘em all with a side of mocha (mocha...). Big man from Minnesota (sota...), make waves like Ruffles, but I take no scuffles. Spend my days with the customers, my counter bumps with the lovers and the busters. Ain’t got rhymes, got ‘em all in check! Disrespect? Better speak correct! I hear the wah-wahs, I hear the caw-caws, you up next for these here paw-paws! Can’t understand it like Peanut parents, y’all count me out cause of my appearance? That’s a played excuse, replay it from my youth, don’t mean a thang but a line in the booth. Bunch of big men who reign supreme, from Bruce Bruce, Big Show and Rikishi! Heavy D, Uncle Phil, B.I.G., Ced the Entertainer to that man, Fluffy. Who’s next? It’s me, B.D.A! All about the bass right in ya face! [Bridge (Meghan Trainor)]: All about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass... [Hook]: If you ain’t bout the bass, take your face back home! If you all about the bass, give me some space, so I can storm! But if you all about the treble, you can’t feel it in your vessel! If you all about the bass, bout the bass…(x2) [Verse Two]: Stylin…To be the man, beat the man, said it before, gotta come hardcore! Profilin’…I’m winning, feeling good, feeling alright, when I take flight, it’s a sight! Pops said don’t worry bout the size, the ladies love a big man with a nice smile. He said, “Put the charm on em, with confidence!” Never been a brotha for the cockiness. (Woo!) Learned from my father and my mother how to drop the bass, back in the day, had to remove the bass. (Woo!) Now, I’m in your face and personal bubble, take a step, watch your whole world crumble! (Woo!) Go on, bring the bring man back, the one who came with the Big Man Swag! (Woo!) Ain’t Black Ken or Tyrese, I’m the son of Della Reese with rage increased! Mixed with temper, blend with peace, that’s the recipe for my complexity. Is it the death of me? I’m just reborn! Treble in my veins, then I’m stillborn! Big man hungry, but I clean up nice, feed me more for half the price. I gave you soul and plenty of funk, brand new, hip-hop’s CM Punk! Can’t rock the polo and get in the club? Who makes the rules that don’t show me love? I’mma take the love and take ya girl’s, too! Who says I can’t pull the bomb ones, too? Wanna ride in the Culchr Express? We dem boys, we do what we do best! Me, right here? No 32, but I shut it down like I’m supposed to do! If you all about the bass, bout the bass…(x2) [Outro (Meghan Trainor)]: Because you know I'm...

Brown Leaves 04:10
[Intro (The Mamas and The Papas)]: (All the leaves are brown...) And the sky is grey (and the sky is grey...) I've been for a walk (I've been for a walk...) On a winter's day (on a winter's day...) I'd be safe and warm (All the leaves are brown) And the sky is grey (and the sky is grey...) I've been for a walk (I've been for a walk...) On a winter's day (on a winter's day...) [Verse One]: Give me mind, give me peace, when will the madness ever cease? It was all good just a year ago…somethin’ like September, just somethin’ to remember. Blind in love, drunk in love, lost my focus , you can say I really fucked up. B Dot said I was Man Of The Year, that was ancient - yesteryear. What a fall of man, a fall of grace, mama just said to pick up my face. Off the ground that it remains, (yeah, yeah...) pops said that everything will change. Faces to people that are closest, 2014 showed all the low hits. Lost my girl, let me dig into that – what, y’all think I wasn’t speaking on that? Two sides to something that’s pretty straight forward, filled of bullshit and awkward moments. How you gonna act like you ain’t love the man? When I was one of few who put up with jams? Sacrificed me, mind and homies, the ones you was tryin to jump on, those homies. How you 5 years older, acting like a brat? How you 5 years older, gonna spaz like that? You gon’ learn today, if not, soon, can’t put the paws on ya cause I gotta bloom. Gotta flourish, finesse, let a young man rumble! You didn’t give a damn if I stumbled or crumbled! I been for that walk already, when I jump to another, you can bet I’m ready. Aw, here it goes, aw, here’s the foes, can’t chase y’all through these rabbit holes! Do I look like Alice and the rabbit (rabbit)? Take my ex, you can have it (have it). The lack of trust--she’s insecure, no hope and faith to ever move forward! [Bridge #1]: I ain’t sure who got my back, so, let’s see who really bout that. She took me with her, my world got dark, takin a total eclipse of the heart. Where do I start? Where do I end? Let me leave a mark and let the story begin. So, when the story begins…let’s see if I win. If I win, then my darkness ends. When the darkness ends…the light begins. When the light begins, BDaMan 2 is in. Oh yes, I’m in…oh, lord, just let me in! [Verse Two]: Wish I never met you! Must’ve been my fate, let me save the rest for 10th Wonder’s sake. People were on me like paparazzi, I swear I couldn’t breathe like the dice in Yahtzee! I appreciate concern, I gotta be secluded, all of this got my mind polluted. Can’t guess my logic or psyche, I’m Bruce Almighty with a Mask and Nikes. Jumanji with the Doubtfire put me in a Birdcage, a big man with too much rage. Morph me into Planet of the Apes, superhero who ripped off the cape. Say hello to the bad guy, slick back like Razor Ramon, I’m gone! This evolution ain’t no mystery, it’s history, no conspiracy! So, let’s stop… [Bridge #2 (The Mamas and The Papas)]: If I was in L.A. (if I was in L.A.) California dreamin' (California dreamin') On such a winter's day... Stopped into a church.... [Bridge #3]: I stopped at the church parking lot, St. Joan Of Arc is where I thought a lot. Your eyes and ears be blown away, the many days where I spoke grey. Damn near black, wanted to attack, but the tears just flow when the wind blows. Peel your forehead back at my mentality, felt alone as hell, thanks to… [Verse Three]: Be mad at me for the truth I spit, for the stories I tell, real brotha shit! On my mother shit, lost my crew cause of you, now I resent you and them a lil’ too! Gotta say it, had to say it, had to do it, no hard feelings, but I can’t conceal it. Got “Das Boot”, felt real pissed off, all the hard work and dedication didn’t pay off. Erased from the vault, forgotten real quick, because of this bitch and acting like a dick. That’s real shit: Almost lost B Dot, Phil and Corey, last of my brotherhood inventory. Wasn’t sleeping right, living right…acting right, had no rhymes to recite. Am I bitter? Hell yeah! (Hell yeah!) All of that, that done failed (done failed)! From the winter to the early summer, May was the Stone Cold Stunner. The cherry on top of destruction, to everybody else, that was end of discussion. Let the caged bird sing, let the beast unleash, let the bell tolls ring. R.I.P. to that year like many, R.I.P to my old like a cemetery. Way too cold, in the heart and the veins, I spit and curb stomp the old remains. Taking new reigns on my life right now, made the catch like Dez in the 4th Quarter, wow! We gonna count that and everything forward, we gonna move on and push on onwards! Still got love for my guys in New Life, just saying how I felt when they hit the verbal welts. Once was pissed, now I’m grateful, lost the devil who I thought was an angel. Had a Plan B, but I miss Plan A, not that one, meant the crew and those days. A New Beginning and the Mondays, filled of laughs, fun in ways. I walk by all these trees, reminisce on the Brown Leaves… What you may not perceive, all I saw was Brown Leaves…(Brown Leaves, Brown Leaves, Brown Leaves...)

BDaMan Verse Lyrics Only Sleep delays our life…Where does the time go? I don’t know. I don’t know what’s up next, got 10 Wonders, but they’re so complex. Sun peak through my shades, (oh!) the ones Grandpa had way back in the day. Can it all be simple like Gladys? (Gladys) Can I take it back to when Mike had it (had it)? Waking up is pretty hard to do, when you got lots to do and an attitude. Then the bad news cometh, ya cup runn-eth over-th, the person you hate gets to blow-up-tuate. Dreams complicate, frustrate the soul, frustrate the temple, put ya mind in a kennel. The leaves are brown, but the mind is lax, I swear, I don’t get tired, (man) it’s a trap! See myself in the pouring home, see myself in the pouring rain, I’m just living in vain. See the light come over now, ideas in mind, I ain’t kind when I hit ‘em with the Kung Pao. Don't nobody know my troubles but God, but, oh lordy, I trouble so hard. Yet, I struggle so hard, running with the demons, brain in pieces, got striked by Jesus. Watch hope come over me, just breathe, let the power compel you, run through ya teeth. Here we are now, but I ball, so - uh, hard, I gotta get Heyman like Paul. Here we are now, rolling through Southside, wit dem Culchr boyz, the rest [all] hide. Oh my god, what they saying now, I gotta get wild, did a lot for this here lifestyle!
7.
[Intro (Donna Goudeau)]: "I don’t know what’s going on. All I know is my side of the story. I can’t tell no other story. I’m innocent. And, mama I love you. POP. Holdin’ it down. [Right thez all good.] Pimp Squad baby. I'm still gonna be right back in the street 'cause I'm innocent! [Verse One]: I don’t give a damn what ya crew say, or what who say, I stay on my woo-say, like woo-sah! Bust back like “Woo-Hah” to ya hooplah, so sup-ah, I fly, to the man, in the trap is when the lights all die. My squad is Culchr, S.O.S with my brother, I rupture the rapture like invasion of the body snatchers! Step into my world like Blondie and KRS, I be trying Sunday Best, but I’m catching all these sweats! Like I caught the holy ghost, someone prep my toast, but it’s a roast, and that’s fine, I’mma go get mine. Invaders of regulators, goin’ down real quick, it’s like this - ain’t nobody messin with my Kliq! [Hook]: (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (No!) (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (Hold It Down!) (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (No!) (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (Hold It Down!) [Bridge (Donna Goudeau)]: (“I don’t know what they done!” replayed) (x3) My family gonna get me up out this, it's good. I don't care what nobody gotta say! Ay! [Verse Two]: I don’t even care what nobody gotta say, y’all can say it anyway, write it down like Hemingway. Cause when worse comes to worse, I got my fam on my team, got the friends on my team who support my dreams! No name calls, no name drops, you know who you are, got the South Alum wondering if I say who I are. Still the same guy, but ain’t really the same guy, had to spring the trap out, cause y’all was laying the crap out. And when the effort is loss, watch the boss take ya title, take the crown and ya side piece, America’s New Idol. Lay the smacketh down, like usual, I get brutal, it’s routine practice, watch me sit back in laughter. [Hook]: (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (No!) (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (Hold It Down!) [Bridge (Donna Goudeau)]: (“I don’t know what they done!” replayed) (x3) [Hook]: (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (No!) (“I ain’t goin’ nowhere!” x2) Am I going anywhere? (Hold It Down!)

about

"It’s A TRAP!" re-introduces BDaMan, artist of Culchr ENT., into the hip-hop world 2 years after his last solo project. With a series of events that has kept BDaMan away from the music scene, this 7-track surprise EP takes you through the revival process of BDaMan’s life and times since “Here’s The Man”. As the namesake of the project may infer, this project has an interesting take on the Trap Music genre. It includes two features from Culchr co-founder, B.Allen (one-half of S.O.S – Speed of Sound with BDaMan) and a feature from Culchr in-house producer, 24KT’D – in a producer spectrum and hip-hop artist spectrum. All mixing and mastering was done by Culchr engineer/producer, Scott Abanto.
