about
For the Black History Month Promo Contest for the Facebook group, Nation of African-American Wrestling (NAAW) - members were asked to share what being a Black Wrestling Fan meant to them and what it meant to be in NAAW. For the second year in a row, I did a promo in the form of a song.
Ladies and gentlemen!
Boys and girls, everybody around the world!
I am...BDaMan!
I am...Bryce Foster!
Uh!
Uh!
Let's get it!
In 98, hit the N64, saw the Nation of Domination, my jaw hit the floor
Cats was doing this with tone like me, body slams and all, black like me!
SummerSlam 01, battle of the legends, Booker and The Rock, either win in any second
Time went on, I kept my sense of pride, this black wrestling fan began to feel alive!
There was more just like us, Mark Henry to Zeke, Lashley to New Day, the list grew unique
Miss Jackie to Jazz, to Mercedes and Trinity, many more names and you can peep the imagery
Grew from a small bunch to a massive crowd, now they hear us when we packed in loud!
They hear us on the internet, the shock and awe, step into the world that we call NAAW
Started 7 years ago with the Macs, laid the groundwork, now look where we at!
8k from the A to the world, all thoughts like pots, they merged!
Emerge for jokes, positivity too, been here three years and I see proof
Ain't nothing better then to check the group, see what's going on, go get in the loop
Hit the live thread, I say "WAZZUP!", see a familiar name, I say "WAZZUP!"
Also known as the NXT Thread dude, see me chillin, interacting, like Soul Food
Act a fool when it's my peeps, the Bad Boys, shoutout Nick and Remy, the NAAW Bad Boys
Shoutout everybody, if we had strife, no matter what, it's NAAW for life!
